Jerusalem, August 6 - Sources close to the long-running Israeli Politics Campaign report that the Dungeon Master has imposed an absolute ceiling of 4 on the Wisdom ability score of every national politician character, a restriction that has shaped decades of play and shows no sign of being lifted.

Benny Gantz, built as an Oath of the Crown Paladin with Fighter levels, repeatedly casts Compelled Duel on the strongest figure at the table that week, only to watch allies abandon him mid-combat once his –3 Wisdom modifier becomes apparent.

Yair Lapid, a College of Eloquence Bard, scores natural 20s on Persuasion checks aimed at cameras while rolling natural 1s on Insight against actual voters.

Itamar Ben-Gvir operates as a Zealot Barbarian multiclassed into Hexblade, entering most sessions already raging and treating every diplomatic encounter as an opportunity for Reckless Attack. Bezalel Smotrich, a Land Domain Cleric, insists the campaign map must be redrawn after every short rest and prepares almost exclusively Create Settlement spells.

The same hard limit applies without exception to Haredi and Arab figures at the table. Aryeh Deri, Trickery Domain Cleric of Shas, maintains concentration on Pass without Trace during coalition negotiations while somehow failing every subsequent corruption check. United Torah Judaism’s Moshe Gafni, built as a Knowledge Domain Cleric focused on endless study, still cannot pass a basic Insight check to recognize when budget demands have pushed the party past the breaking point.

On the Arab side, Mansour Abbas finds himself perpetually surprised when the rest of the party treats the arrangements as temporary. Ayman Odeh, a Circle of the Land Druid advocating systemic change, keeps casting Speak with Plants on the electorate only to fail the follow-up Perception check that would reveal how few listeners remain. Ahmad Tibi, operating as a Storm Sorcerer, channels raw Charisma into dramatic floor speeches that consistently provoke opportunity attacks from every other faction.

An additional mechanical quirk plagues the Democrats and the Labor/Meretz cohort. Despite respectable Intelligence scores and elaborate backstories, these characters labor under permanent severe encumbrance caused by the sheer weight of ideological inventory — purity tests, overlapping progressive cause items, and nested intersectionality scrolls. The resulting movement penalty and carrying-capacity limit prevent them from accumulating more than a handful of Knesset seats no matter how many short rests they take or how eloquently they argue for a fairer distribution of party slots.

Political analysts covering the campaign say the hard limit accounts for the persistent tendency to walk into the same ambushes, fail the same saving throws against short-term power, and treat every temporary alliance as a permanent party composition until the next total party kill.
